**Position Title: Inventory Control Manager (Regional)**

* Dallas, TX

* Business travel to regional branches 25% to 50% of time

* Monday - Friday

You will have responsibility for providing leadership, control and vision that will drive accurate and timely inventory management and reporting. You will also coordinate with Divisional Inventory Control and establish the timelines and deadlines for inventory cycle counts for both hardgoods and gases, perform variance analyses and will determine and recommend corrective actions. This position will require a seasoned inventory professional who is strong technically, possesses good analytical skills and is experienced in improving systems and processes.

In particular, you will:

* Lead, guide and direct cycle counts processes at Regional plants and branches for hardgoods and gases.

* Review and approve inventory adjustments as a result of variances to physical counts compared to the perpetual inventory records in accordance with defined variance thresholds

* Work with branches to manage bolt-op programs and other inventory promotions.

* Provide branch-based reporting to measure inventory turns, inactive inventory, adjustments and other relevant metrics.

**Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, a bachelors degree a plus.

* Inventory management experience required. Industry experience or knowledge of Airgas business and production/distribution network preferred.

* Should have a strong understanding of plant operations and how inventory transactional records are processed and maintained.

* Experience with SAP or other EAP systems is a plus.
