The **Temporary Laborer** position will allow you the opportunity to make contributions that support our Phillips 66 Borger Refinery:

* The Borger Refinery has identified a need for intermittent employees as part of the general labor crew to assist in a document conversion project.

* Work under the supervisor of an experienced Project Manager.

* Network with other students participating in the Intern program.

* An introduction to company practices, procedures and safety culture.

**Responsibilities May Include:**

* Document management- sorting, shipping, scanning; digital verification of document conversations via computer.

* Following instructions from supervisors and implementing tasks.

* Other duties assigned as needed Critical Skills:

* Well-organized self-starter that can operate independently and in a team environment.

* Ability to multi-task and respond quickly to change/opportunities.

* Consistently meet high standards of quality, performance and productivity.

* Effective communication skills and basic computer skills.

* High service level and strong work ethic.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Legally authorized to work in the job posting country without restrictions

* Must have a valid driver's license

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* Able to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs

* Willing to be available for a minimum of eight continuous weeks

* Willing to work overtime

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Pursuing an Associate's degree in a technical field from Frank Phillips College

* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

The **Borger Refinery** is located in Borger, Texas, in the Texas Panhandle, approximately 50 miles north of Amarillo, Texas. Refinery facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes primarily medium sour crude oil produced locally, and heavy sour crude oil produced in Canada, all of which are delivered by pipeline. Borger produces a high percentage of transportation fuels, as well as petroleum coke, NGLs and solvents. Refined products are distributed to customers via pipelines from the refinery to West Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and the Midcontinent region.
